Gorge View Annexe sits quietly at the rear of Gorge View main house attached on one corner. It was added to the main house in the early eighties by the previous owners and was partly built from the ruined outbuildings that were there before, so the rear wall is solid stone wall 2 foot thick. All rooms are dual-aspect. We are now renting out the annexe on the basis of 1 person, or 2 people sharing, in a self-contained self-catering 1-bedroom space. And only for two or three night weekends.
Certainly not as perfect and characterful or as well equipped as the cottage, and not subject to Visit England's star rating, yet a lovely, comfortable and practical space in its own right. We are only marketing the Annexe via AirBnB where the availability can be checked and bookings can be made. Of course if you don't want the additional service AirBnB provide then we're delighted to take direct books via this website (just mention it is the Annexe you are interested in), and we'll not be asking the additional service fee AirBnB charge.

Tariff
We are a little constrained by the AirBnB charging model but basically three different night-rates for each of the same 3 seasons we use with the cottage: Low (January, February, November and December); Mid (April, May, September and October); and High (June, July, August and Easter & Christmas). In all cases there is a flat-rate base charge for any stay, nominally in AirBnb speak for "cleaning". We can only accept 2 or 3-night bookings, starting on a Friday or Saturday.
Per night rates: Low season: £45; Mid season: £60; High season: £85; Additional flat rate charge for all stays: £50.
Charges include bedding and towels, all utilities, free WiFi throughout and fee on-site parking for one car.
Sadly we have to maintain a no-pets and no-children policy.
