Finding us in Cheddar, SomersetGorge View Cottage is tucked up the small lane of Birch Hill very near the start of the main gorge road - The Cliffs. As you approach Cheddar follow signs for the gorge. When you come to the mini-roundabout by The Riverside Inn, exit the roundabout towards the gorge and immediately turn left again. Birch Hill is the small lane that runs up to the left of the chip shop (Cheddar Fish Bar). Up the short slope, past West Lynne road on your left and Gorge View house and cottage are the second driveway on your left.
In summer the house is recognisable by the Virginia Creeper all over it, and both house and cottage have solar panels on the roof. |
