![]() COVID-19: February 2021 update (the end is hopefully in sight)
As of the government plan to ease us out of third lockdown (hopefully for good) the cottage remains closed but we are taking bookings from 12th April onwards. As in first lockdown we have in the meantime made the cottage available to local essential workers needing to separate from families to protect them against potential exposure, and to keep working. We now have a lovely local couple staying. Until the end of September we are also continuing our fully flexible refund offer: bookings that must be cancelled, or even bookings you wish to cancel, will get a full refund and we offer this up to two days before the day of arrival. We will for the foreseeable future be continuing our extended cleaning regime to ensure the cottage is as safe as can be. We will also continue, until June 21st, to plot in a 3-day quarantine period between bookings. Read more here. We now offer Electric Vehicle charging, all from renewable
energy, and free to guests A sustainable haven with fantastic views of Cheddar Gorge![]() Gorge View Cottage is an award-winning sustainable four-star self-catering holiday cottage for two, nestling in the foothills of the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
